Rosemond E.A. Aryeetey

Rosemond Ebi-Adwo Aryeetey is a Senior Programme Manager for the Media for Democracy and Good Governance Programme. Rosemond plays a lead role in project design and implementation, partnership/stakeholder engagements and leads the implementation of multi-donor projects.

She has managed several projects including the Equal Voices in Ghana and Ivory Coast project, the Participatory, Accountability, Integrity for Resilient Democracy (PAIRed) project, the Oxfam-DANIDA and Oxfam-Norad projects on Tax justice and domestic revenue mobilization, to cite a few.

She has managed the successful delivery of several interventions such as Fellowships, capacity building sessions, development of project-related knowledge products, mentorship schemes and national fora.

In her previous capacities as Senior Manager for Partnerships and Institutional Development Programme at MFWA, she strengthened the organization’s systems, visibility, and engagements with existing and new partners, strategic institutions, development partners, and academic institutions.

Before joining the MFWA, she worked as the Head of Corporate Affairs at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) where she had oversight responsibility for promoting the reputation and achievements of KAIPTC locally, regionally and internationally.

She has also worked variously as a Communications Consultant, Public Relations Manager and Account Manager for local and international brands, including Global Media Alliance, Vodafone Ghana, Samsung, HP, Yankah and Associates, and Crestcom International, among others. Rosemond has also worked as a Lecturer at the African University of College of Communications and the Pentecost University. She has also served as a Resource Person/Facilitator for several organisations in the public and private sectors.

She has a Master of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana, Legon and an MA Degree in Administration in Higher Education from the University of Cape Coast. She is also a finalist from Ghana for Africa’s Most Influential Women in Business and Government Awards in 2013.
