Diane Rachelle Sylvia Badolo

Diane Rachelle Sylvia Badolo is a Programme Assistant at the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), where she supports regional initiatives on freedom of expression, journalists’ safety across West Africa. She contributes to monitoring and documenting press freedom violations, coordinating capacity-building workshops, and engaging with media professionals, regulators, security agencies, and civil society actors.

She holds a Master’s degree in International Business Law from Université Aube Nouvelle in Burkina Faso, equipping her with strong legal expertise to analyse media laws and human rights frameworks and support advocacy efforts that promote democratic governance and accountability.

Diane also has experience in communications and has supported initiatives focused on children’s rights, gender equality, and the prevention of violence against women.
