Michael Etrue is a Programme Associate at the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), where he coordinates the planning and execution of the organisation’s communications strategy, ensures the visibility of its programme areas across West Africa, and leads brand communication across its digital channels.
Prior to his current role, Michael served as a coordinator for an MFWA media monitoring project. Before joining MFWA, he was the Director of Solutions at Zach Levi & Associates, a data analytics and business advisory startup, where he led business strategy, client communication, solution design, and project management.
Michael previously worked as Assistant Communications Specialist on the USAID-funded Sustainable Fisheries Management Project in Ghana. He also served as Project Delivery Support (Communications) at the British Council Ghana, supporting the GIZ-funded Jobs for Youth: Migration and Employment Promotion Project and the UK Government-funded I-WORK (Improving Work Opportunities – Relaying Knowledge) Project.
He has a Master of Philosophy degree in Communication Studies from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Science degree in Information and Communication Technology Education from the University of Education, Winneba.
