Delali JD Dessouassi serves as Programme Associate and Multilingual Translator with the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), where he contributes to advancing press freedom, democratic governance, and media development across West Africa.

He also contributes to analytical reports, alerts, and special publications on freedom of expression, and supports engagement with journalists, governments, and regional stakeholders.

With a background in French–English–Portuguese translation and over five years of professional experience, Delali has worked in diverse and multicultural environments.

He has coordinated an EU-funded initiative in Guinea-Bissau aimed at promoting and protecting democracy by safeguarding freedom of opinion and expression and countering mis/disinformation.

Passionate about fostering dialogue across cultures, Delali remains committed to strengthening democratic values and protecting media freedom in West Africa.
