This report looks at the State of Internet Freedom in Sierra Leone with specific reference to the legislative and policy environment, access, affordability, data protection, safety in the digital space and makes recommendations to the government and other stakeholders to increase public awareness and respect for online rights in Liberia.
The report maps out the practices and measures adopted by state actors to restrict or enhance internet access and use, providing key examples of policy measures and actions that promote internet rights and freedom of expression online. It also looks at developments around internet use and examines the policy and regulatory landscape in the country to inform advocacy and policy reform on internet freedom in Sierra Leone.
