Nigeria and Ghana recorded seven and six violations each to lead the list of ten countries that recorded freedom of expression (FOE) violations in the third quarter (July-September) of 2020). While Ghana recorded one more violation than it did during the previous quarter (April-June), Nigeria improved from 17 violations to seven. Similarly, Liberia improved from 11 violations in the second quarter to just one during the quarter under review which was relatively less repressive, having recorded a total of 27 violations as against 56 during the April-June second quarter 0f 2020.
