{"id":4189,"date":"2012-12-12T12:51:28","date_gmt":"2012-12-12T12:51:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mfwa.africafex.org\/?p=4189"},"modified":"2015-12-01T12:54:04","modified_gmt":"2015-12-01T12:54:04","slug":"alerte-gambie-la-police-arrete-le-frere-dun-journaliste-exile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mfwa.org\/fr\/alerte-gambie-la-police-arrete-le-frere-dun-journaliste-exile\/","title":{"rendered":"ALERTE Gambie: La Police arr\u00eate le fr\u00e8re d\u2019un journaliste exil\u00e9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le 8 d\u00e9cembre 2012, des agents de la Police gambienne ont envahi la r\u00e9sidence \u00e0 Banjul d\u2019Abubacarr Saidykhan, un journaliste exil\u00e9, arr\u00eat\u00e9 et d\u00e9tenu son fr\u00e8re cadet, Ousman Saidykhan, dans les locaux du commissariat de Police de Kairaba, ville situ\u00e9e \u00e0 12 kilom\u00e8tres de la capitale, Banjul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selon les sources de la Fondation pour les M\u00e9dias en Afrique de l\u2019Ouest (MFWA), Ousman Saidykhan a \u00e9t\u00e9 lib\u00e9r\u00e9 le 11 d\u00e9cembre sans qu\u2019aucune inculpation ne soit port\u00e9e contre lui. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 accord\u00e9 la libert\u00e9 sous caution contre versement de la somme de 50 000 dalasis (environ $US 1 600).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les sources ont inform\u00e9 que Saidykhan a \u00e9t\u00e9 arr\u00eat\u00e9 en raison du fait qu\u2019il n\u2019a pas su indiquer o\u00f9 se trouve son fr\u00e8re a\u00een\u00e9 apr\u00e8s que la Police lui a demand\u00e9 de r\u00e9v\u00e9ler sa cachette.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Il est \u00e0 rappeler qu\u2019Abubacarr Saidykhan et Baboucarr Ceesay, le vice-pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019Union de Presse Gambienne (GPU) ont \u00e9t\u00e9 disculp\u00e9s des accusations criminelles de \u00ab complot en vue de commettre un crime, d\u2019inciter \u00e0 la violence et de publier des articles s\u00e9ditieux \u00bb apr\u00e8s leur arrestation et d\u00e9tention le 10 septembre 2012. L\u2019arrestation des deux personnalit\u00e9s a fait suite \u00e0 leur demande en vue d\u2019organiser une manifestation pacifique contre l\u2019ex\u00e9cution de neuf condamn\u00e9s \u00e0 mort en Gambie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Par cons\u00e9quent, Abubacarr a d\u00fb fuir le pays \u00e0 cause des menaces de mort lanc\u00e9es \u00e0 son endroit par des inconnus qui seraient des collaborateurs de la Police.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La MFWA demeure tr\u00e8s inqui\u00e8te quant \u00e0 la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 d\u2019Abubacarr et de sa famille. Elle est scandalis\u00e9e par le climat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de r\u00e9pression en Gambie sous le pr\u00e9sident Yahya Jammeh.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Le Directeur-ex\u00e9cutif de la MFWA, le Pr.
