L\u2019Union des Journalistes Ind\u00e9pendants du Togo (UJIT), est l\u2019une des organisations des journalistes influentes du Togo. Elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 1992 dans le sillage de transition du r\u00e9gime militaire et autocratique du pays au r\u00e9gime d\u00e9mocratique. UJIT regroupe des professionnelles chevronn\u00e9es de la presse priv\u00e9e et des journalistes ind\u00e9pendants. Pionni\u00e8re dans la cr\u00e9ation de l\u2019Observatoire Togolais des M\u00e9dias, une instance d\u2019autor\u00e9gulations des medias, UJIT a pour objectif de promouvoir l\u2019excellence dans la pratique du journalisme et le respect des normes et de l\u2019\u00e9thique par les journalistes.
