The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA) is a regional independent non-governmental organisation with a network of national partner organisations in all 16 countries in West Africa. It is the biggest and most influential media development and freedom of expression organisation in the region with UN ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council) Consultative Status.
The MFWA also has Equivalency Determination Certification with NGOSource that certifies the organisation as being the equivalent of a public charity in the United States. The organisation also has a partnership agreement with the regional inter-governmental body, ECOWAS and engages frequently with mechanisms of the African Union (AU) and the UN.
MFWA works across West Africa to promote and defend freedom of expression, media development, digital rights, and democratic governance. To support the implementation of its programmes and institutional operations, the organisation seeks to prequalify competent vendors across multiple service categories.
Purpose of the Call
The objective of this call is to establish a database of vetted and reliable service providers who may be invited to submit quotations or proposals for specific assignments and contracts as they arise.
Submission of an Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a commitment by MFWA to award any contract.

Eligibility Criteria
Interested service providers must:
- Be legally registered and authorised to operate in their respective jurisdictions
- Possess relevant experience in the selected service category
- Demonstrate capacity to deliver services in a timely and professional manner
- Provide valid contact details and references, where applicable

Deadline
The deadline for submission of the Expression of Interest is 31st March, 2026.
