The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), with funding support from DW Akademie, invites applications from investigative and public interest journalists in Ghana and West Africa to join the Network of Investigative and Public Interest Journalists (NIPIJ).
This NIPIJ is being established by the MFWA to foster support and collaboration among investigative and public interest journalists in West Africa. It will also serve as a professional platform for the journalists to share experiences, resources, and best practices to advance safety, security and professionalism and public interest journalism in West Africa.

- Virtual learning and experience-sharing sessions, providing a platform to engage with peers, sharpen skills, and share best practices.
- Addition to MFWA’s pool of facilitators and trainers for upcoming training and engagement opportunities across West Africa.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be practicing investigative and public interest journalists based in West Africa.
- Applicants must commit to participating in all the sessions of the NIPIJ
