The Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), has appointed Mr. Byron Taylor, as Managing Consultant of the Organisation’s newly-established Consultancy Unit.
Until his appointment, Byron Taylor was the Chief Executive Officer of CSR Foundation, Ghana, and had also previously served as Executive Secretary for the Institute of Public Relations, Ghana. Byron Taylor was Columnist for Weekend World newspaper formerly published by Global Media Alliance. In the USA, Byron Taylor worked as a marketing executive for Huntington Bank and also was a columnist for African Weekender magazine and the Star newspaper in Columbus, Ohio.
The creation of the Consultancy Unit is part of the MFWA’s ongoing organisational sustainability initiatives. The MFWA is the leading non-profit, independent press freedom and freedom of expression advocacy organisation in West Africa.
The Consultancy Unit is poised to become a unique and the most reliable Centre for Media Research; Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Concept Development and Advisory Service; Media Relations Skills Training; in Ghana and the West Africa Sub-Region.
