In its second quarterly Monitor of this year, the MFWA recorded 32 incidents of violations from April to June 2015. Nigeria performed worst with 11 recorded incidents—nearly three times more incidents than the second-worst performer, Guinea, where four incidents were reported. The MFWA also recorded incidents of violations in Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Niger, Senegal, and Togo. Meanwhile, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, and Sierra Leone each recorded 0 incidents.
