On July 11-13, Paradigm Initiative, a Social Enterprise working in Digital Inclusion and Digital Rights in Africa collaborated with the Gambia Press Union to train 25 journalists.
the participants, drawn from various media houses were taken through how to protect their data, conducting themselves in the online space as well tools that can enhance their work.
Participants also discussed digital rights-related laws that were introduced by the Yahya Jammeh administration and how the new government under President Adama Barrow can be engaged for the passage of rights-respecting/positive rights laws.
